Coreopsis (Coreopsis lanceolata)

While it has naturalized in parts of western Canada and grows incredibly well in Port Moody gardens, it is officially classified as an introduced or garden-escaped species in BC. Gardeners love it because it is highly drought-tolerant, thrives in poor, sandy soil, and produces bright yellow, daisy-like flowers all summer long.
